Recipe: Smoked Trout Dip
Smoked Trout Dip
Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 8 ounces greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh chives, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced
- 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- 10 ounces smoked trout (no skin)
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, minced
- Kosher salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. In the bowl of a food processor, combine the cream cheese, yogurt, fresh herbs and lemon juice.
2. Pulse until you have a smooth, well incorporated dip.
3. Transfer the dip to a small mixing bowl and add the trout in pieces to the bowl.
4. Use a fork to mash the trout into the dip as well as the remaining 2 tablespoons of fresh dill. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
5. Serve with fresh veggies or crackers.
